CMPC Mentorship

CMPC Mentorship

How I see the CMPC career path
Who I want to work with

I’m looking for people who approach their CMPC mentorship with curiosity and a genuine commitment to growth.

They choose experiences that build real skills, seek mentorship that challenges them, and look for opportunities aligned with their values and long-term goals.

They understand that certification is not the finish line. It is the starting point.

I’m not looking for people who are checking boxes, rushing through requirements, or trying to move through the process as quickly as possible.

I want to work with people who care about the work, want to improve over time, and are focused on making a meaningful and lasting impact.

Becoming an effective practitioner takes time.

It’s a long road of learning, trying, reflecting, and figuring out what actually works in real situations. It’s not always clear, and it’s not something you’re meant to do on your own.

I’ve been through that process, and I understand what it takes to grow into the work with confidence.

I help you develop your approach, build consulting skills, and turn what you know into something you can actually apply, so you can show up clearly and consistently with the people you support.

This work starts with you.

This CMPC mentorship supports individuals working toward or navigating the Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) pathway through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) or the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA).

Hear from mentees I've worked with

“There’s a time for everything, and Jason's really good at knowing when is the right time to push and when is the right time to be softer.

“I loved the flexible structure of our sessions, starting one one topic but if something else came up that we deemed more important we’d move to that and so on! It made the sessions feel very natural and allowed for the best use of our time.”
